School Houses

Dear Parents/ Carers/ Guardians,

We would like to inform those who have recently joined us and remind our existing parents of a system that we follow closely here at Phoenix Academy - School Houses. This is a student experience which was initiated almost four years ago and has been a great success. The houses consist of three teams: Ignis, Ventus and Aqua. Each house is managed by a Class Supervisor.

Each student has been carefully assigned to their house and will be receiving House Points for showing good teamwork and good behavior in their communities. This includes PE, Sports Day and any other competitive activities.

These rewards are not exclusive to their time in school. We wish to encourage our students in all that they endeavor, both in and out of classes, and we are asking for your participation. If you see that your child/ children are excelling in classes outside of school or volunteering their time to worthwhile projects at evenings or weekends, or if you feel they have been exceptional at home, you may write us a note to inform us of their achievements, and we will happily reward them with House Points. The team with the most points at the end of the school year will receive a certificate, prizes and most importantly, the House Cup.

We are confident that this initiative will continue to instill pride in our school, our students and their teams. I look forward to hearing about all the great things that our students have accomplished in their own time.
