Our Vision
Phoenix Academy will provide a Christian education that empowers and equips all children to really live in the world and be able to fulfil their God given dreams and visions. We want to maintain a safe, vibrant, stimulating place of learning. We will also promote academic learning whilst encouraging moral and spiritual development.
Our desire is to nurture the individual’s personal development, including self-esteem and self-confidence. We believe that all children and young people can develop an understanding of their place in God’s world. We will also help them develop a world view of respect and appreciation, learning how to embrace those that are different to them. At Phoenix Academy we want to help and support children and young people to discover their individual creative expression.

Mission
Phoenix Academy wants to make quality Christian education available to all. Giving parents the right to choose a Bible based education for their children that is of a high academic standard as well as morally and spiritually sound. Phoenix Academy intends to ‘teach children in the way they should go’ (proverbs 22:6), enabling them to become conscientious citizens and God fearing men and women confidently taking their place in society.
OBJECTIVES
That each student enjoys the process of learning, investigating and understanding.
That each student is safe to express and explore their creativity, in the school environment.
That each student should be taught the Gospel of Christ and explore His views on the world and the people they live with.
That each student will be equipped to pursue his or her future confidently and with God’s guidance.
That all students will come to recognize the gifts and talents God has given them and strive to use them for His glory in their future.
That all students learn to respect and value other people.
To work with our local authority in order to remain up-to-date with any/all changes and/or developments in education.
The school will assist the parents in bringing up their children, working in partnership to ensure each student is equipped academically, socially, and spiritually.
Parents will participate in the life and work of the school in prayer and in practical ways.
To teach and demonstrate Christian principles by imparting to students a biblical worldview and lifestyle and a heart for Christian witness and mission.
That staff be equipped through training days and empowered
through staff appraisals.
The school will seek to be its best (in student achievement, facilities, staff and curriculum development) for God, to fulfil its agreement with CEE and to meet legal requirements.
During the preceding school year the Phoenix Academy received zero complaints.
