Bank holiday change aware

Dear Parents, We would like to make you aware of the recent changes to the early May Bank Holiday, which usually falls on the first Monday of May. The date has now been amended. Instead of it being on Monday 4th, it will now be on Friday 8th May 2020. The reason for this change is because the Government would like to honour the 75th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, or VE Day, which marks the formal end of World War II. It will be the first day of a long weekend, which I’m sure will feature numerous commemorative events across the country. We hope you all enjoy the festivities. Kindest regards, Tameka Anderson-Sango
